Partners AIDS Research Center

The Infectious Disease (I.D.) Training Program draws on the strengths of the Mass. General Hospital (MGH), the Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH), and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI). This single combined program also includes clinical AIDS training, and is headed by a four-person Executive committee. Both Dr. Elliot Kieff and Dr. Bruce Walker are members of this executive committee as well as of the Partners AIDS Research Center.

Visit the Research Fellowship Training in Infectious Disease page for more information.

The Harvard Program for AIDS Clinical Research Training (PACRT) is administered through Harvard School of Public Health and led by Dr. Kenneth A. Freedberg.

Harvard AIDS Multi-Disciplinary Training Grant is administered at the MGH and is led by Dr.Martin Hirsch .

Fogarty Fellowships, additionally, have permitted training of scientists from Greece, China, India, Mexico and Thailand at MGH/BWH.

The caliber of trainees that are attracted to these programs is exceptional, as is the caliber of scientists who can be drawn from other disciplines to become involved in collaborative interactions. Research fellows from other institutions around the world may apply individually to receive additional training at the Center. All of these interactions have served to strengthen the ties among the investigators, and have resulted in a highly productive collaborative atmosphere.

Other opportunities at the Partners AIDS Research Center are listed through the Partners Human Resources Job Postings Database.

Continuing Medical Education Programs
