An overview of who we are and what we do at the: Blood Donor Center Over the past sixty years the MGH Blood Donor Center has grown into one of the largest full-service blood transfusion and donation services in the country.  Today
the blood donor center strives to help provide the 85,000 blood components
necessary to transfuse patients at MGH,
Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary,
Shriners Burns Hospital
- Boston and the Spaulding
Rehabilitation Hospital. The blood is supplied by volunteer donors; people who realize the ongoing need for life-saving blood. Learn more about why you should donate blood |
