Research Interests:

My research focus is the access of black patients with end stage liver disease (ESLD) to orthotopic liver transplantation. Blacks are under-represented among liver transplant recipients when compared to the general population. I am working with large administrative databases as well as patient medical records to determine the scope and the cause of this disparity. In addition, I am a co-investigator on clinical trials for treatment of Hepatitis B and C.
