Ives Erickson receives UMass Chancellor's Award

JEANETTE IVES ERICKSON, RN, MS, FAAN, senior vice president for Patient Care and chief nurse, received the Chancellor's Award for Longstanding Community Commitment and Service from the University of Massachusetts (UMass) Boston on March 25. The honor recognizes her efforts to promote diversity in nursing and her role in facilitating an alliance between Partners HealthCare and UMass Boston's College of Nursing and Health Sciences. Through this collaboration, a nursing leadership development and scholarship initiative has been created that to date has helped nearly 40 students of diverse backgrounds to advance their education at UMass Boston. The award also recognizes Ives Erickson's ongoing commitment to both the local and global communities.
