Watch a Special "Boston Med" Screening at the MGH

The MGH community is invited to view a special preview of the first episode of the upcoming series "Boston Med" on Monday, June 21 from noon to 1 pm in the Bulfinch Tent.

Last year, an ABC News film crew spent four months at the MGH documenting the poignant, real-life stories of staff, patients and families. The crew was granted nearly complete access to the hospital and took a "fly-on-the-wall" approach to capture events as candidly as possible. By the time filming at the MGH came to a close in late May 2009, the crew had more than 2,500 hours of raw footage.

The MGH footage, as well as footage from Brigham and Women's Hospital and Children's Hospital, has been edited to create an eight-part documentary series, "Boston Med." The hour-long series premiere will air Thursday, June 24 at 10 pm EST on Channel 5.
