DISCUSSING DIVERSITY: Slavin, at right, speaks with AMMP members.

For two decades, the Association of Multicultural Members of Partners (AMMP) has been committed to the advancement, retention, recruitment and development of multicultural professionals at the MGH. On April 12, in support of this mission, AMMP presented the annual Leadership Forum in the Trustees Room with special guests MGH President Peter L. Slavin, MD, and MGPO Chairman and CEO David F. Torchiana, MD. Approximately 70 AMMP members attended the standing-room-only event, which was modeled as a roundtable discussion. Participants talked about topics ranging from the leadership skills essential for a successful MGH career to ways the MGH is increasing diversity in its workforce.
