Joint Commission survey team visit
The Joint Commission survey team arrived at the MGH July 23 for a weeklong, hospitalwide survey. The seven-person team visited numerous areas of the hospital including inpatient and ambulatory facilities, procedural areas and laboratories – as well as MGH health centers. While the official results were not available at the time of publication, the surveyors provided primarily positive feedback as well as some constructive recommendations.
“I would like to extend my deepest thanks to everyone for their hard work during the survey team’s visit as well as your continued commitment to Excellence Every Day,” says MGH President Peter L. Slavin, MD. “I am so proud of our staff who showed the dedication and commitment to providing quality, compassionate care that we give each and every one of our patients on a daily basis.”
