Employees, patients and visitors paused to remember the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks during a special prayer service in the MGH Chapel on Tuesday. MGH Chaplain Rev. Patti Keeler led the midday service. Keeler described her experience of caring for Alzheimer’s patients on the day of the attacks, shared prayers submitted by the hospital community and encouraged attendees to take part in recognizing the anniversary as a day to perform good deeds.
