Gary P. Pisano, PhD, the Harry E. Figgie Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School, was the keynote speaker at the Nancy J. Tarbell, MD, Faculty Development Lecture, hosted by the MGH Center for Faculty Development. Pisano’s lecture, “Innovation in Healthcare,” highlighted the importance of a coordinated, integrated approach. The annual lecture series was created to honor Tarbell, the founding director of the Office of Women’s Careers at the MGH and the Center for Faculty Development, who is now dean of Clinical and Academic Affairs at Harvard Medical School. The event provides faculty with insights into professional development from highly regarded leaders.
