Two months after the Boston Marathon tragedy, many questions and concerns remain and many people are continuing to deal with a wide range of emotions. The MGH Senior HealthWISE program will host “After the Marathon: A Special Event for the MGH Community” to help staff, patients and visitors on the path to healing.
The program, “Wouldn’t Give Nothing Up For My Journey Now: Thoughts on Change,” with guest speaker Rev. Liz Walker will run from noon to 1 pm June 11 in the O’Keeffe Auditorium. Walker is an ordained minister, entrepreneur, television journalist, documentary film producer and humanitarian, most recently working in the war-torn country of South Sudan. Introductory remarks will be given by MGH President Peter L. Slavin, MD. To RSVP, call 617-643-6302.
