New PT space to open

19/Jul/2013

Christmas came early this week as Santa Claus took a break from his summer vacation on July 17 to deliver a $150,000 donation to the MGH Sumner Redstone Burn Center. The funds will be distributed over the course of five years to help fund a new physical and occupational therapy space for burn patients, which is scheduled to open in September. Santa delivered the donation on behalf of the Boston Firefighters Burn Foundation (BFBF), a nonprofit organization comprised of Boston firefighters whose mission is to ease the suffering and hardship of burn victims and their families.
