Submit nominations for MGH Domestic Violence Working Group Unsung Hero Award
Nominate an MGH employee or department that has gone above and beyond to assist survivors of domestic violence. This could include someone who gave a particularly sensitive response to a domestic violence disclosure, coordinated a charity event or anything in between. Email Gayle Hoisington to request a nomination form. Nominations must be submitted by Aug. 16.
Learn Advanced Medical Spanish at the MGH Institute of Health Professions
Registration is open for HP827 – Advanced Medical Spanish at the MGH Institute of Health Professions. Taught by Emma Romeau, a native speaker with experience teaching all levels of Spanish, this three-credit immersion course explores regional differences in terminology relevant to medical Spanish and health care practices. Interested students should be proficient in conversational Spanish. The course begins Sept. 9 and will be held Saturdays from 9 to 11:50 am.
