The MGH Broadway Primary Care office in Revere celebrated its relocation from 300 Broadway to a larger site at 385 Broadway with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Oct. 30.
Antonio Granfone, MD, medical director of MGH Broadway Primary Care, welcomed guests including Mayor Dan Rizzo; Sally Iles, associate vice president for Medicine and Primary Care Services; Brit Nicholson, MD, MGH senior vice president and chief medical officer; and Eric Weil, MD, MGPO associate medical director for Primary Care, who also is a physician at the Revere HealthCare Center.
Granfone spoke about the importance of looking at the past when developing a vision for the future and stressed the historic and global significance of the MGH as an institution dedicated to patient care, education and research.
“As we celebrate our new office we should not forget that the patients do not come to see the space, they come to see us,” said Granfone. “And they will continue to come see us as long as we provide the high quality of care to which they have become accustomed. This space will make the overall patient experience better, especially with the exceptional care our cohesive team provides.”
