Education
Central to the mission of the Schizophrenia Program of the MGH is to educate the general public, patients, and families about schizophrenia and its treatment. Our faculty speak to consumer groups, such as the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI), and Boston-based Refuah, as well as to the media. In addition, the faculty lecture at national and international conferences, grand rounds, and provide trainings to other mental health professionals and the judiciary on a variety of topics related to the neurobiology and treatment of schizophrenia spectrum disorders.
