Affiliation
Through its Affiliate Program, the Benson-Henry Institute provides an opportunity for a limited number of hospitals and health care systems to replicate the successful programs offered by the Benson-Henry Institute at their own sites. Affiliates receive intensive training in mind body interventions, and in the operation of clinical programs along with administrative and marketing assistance.
Through a five-year renewable contract, the BHI faculty provides the following to its affiliates:
- Training of affiliate staff
- Supervision of establishment of clinics
- Monitoring of affiliate performance through on-site visits
- Marketing, administrative, and billing support
- Joint research opportunities
- Exclusivity of territory
- Regular teleconferences
- Access to proprietary program materials, including manuals, CDs, and videotapes
Benefits of affiliation include:
- Affiliation with the internationally-recognized Benson-Henry Institute under the leadership of Herbert Benson, MD
- Use of the name "Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine"
- Access to Benson-Henry Institute professional staff and administration
- The ability to respond to patient demand for mind/body interventions
- The potential to increase outpatient volume and to decrease inpatient length of stay
A five-year full affiliation, which includes training in all medical programs, is $400,000.
A five-year affiliation limited to one clinical area is offered at a reduced price.
