The Benson Henry Institute will bring together distinguished leaders in the field of Mind Body Medicine at our upcoming CME course on Sept 17 (For more information, click HERE)
In the months leading up to the event, we thought you might enjoy mini profiles of these presenters, who join us in bringing some of the most exciting contributions to research and practice of Mind Body Medicine.
Our first mini profile is of Alan Logan, ND.
Alan Logan is a naturopathic doctor, researcher and expert in nutritional medicine and ecotherapy. He is co-author of the recent book, "Your brain on Nature," which explores the scientific discoveries related to the way in which nature immersion and deprivation can work for or against us in our health and well-being. The book also examines the ways that screen-based gadgetry technology effect our attitudes about and connection to nature.
Logan is also author of "The Brain Diet", which explores the connection between diet and mental health, as well as the brain’s importance for realizing the full potential of our intelligence.
For more information about Logan and our upcoming event, which also features Jon Kabat-Zinn, MD, Sonia Lupien, PhD, Miriam Nelson, PhD, Sara Lazar, PhD, Charles Czeisler, MD, PhD, Towia Libermann PhD, and Manoj Bhasin PhD, click here.
