Friday, March 30th
Herbert Benson, MD and Ann Webster, PhD will teach a day-long course entitled "The Relaxation Revolution: A Day in Mind Body Medicine" at the Massachusetts School for Professional Psychology in collaboration with Harvard Medical School.
Wednesday, April 4th
Herbert Benson, MD will present at the Harvard School of Public Health's Dean's Distinguished Lecture Series on the topic of his most recent book, The Relaxation Revolution. The lecture series is sponsored by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Learn more
Tuesday, April 10th
Ann Webster, PhD will speak during MGH Breast Rounds Dr. Webster will discuss recent findings from a study on anxiety related to breast cancer screenings. The talk will occur from 12:00 - 1:00 pm at Yawkey 2.210.
Wednesday, April 11th
Elyse Park, PhD and Jeff Dusek, PhD will present a 3-hour workshop at the Annual Meeting of the Society of Behavioral Medicine Annual Meeting, New Orleans, LA. The title of their workshop is, "A New Treatment Paradigm for Coping with Chronic Stress: the Relaxation Response Resiliency Program."
Monday, April 22nd
Leslee Kagan, MS, FNP and Jesse Willet, BS will present a poster with results from a BHI pilot study examining the effects of a Relaxation Response and Resiliency Program (3RP) on infertile women. The presentation will occur at the Annual Meeting of the North American Society of Psychosocial Obstetrics and Gynecology in Providence, RI. Register

John Denninger, MD, PhD will present on the topic of "Genomic expression: A window into the biological underpinnings of meditation and other mind-body medicine practices" at the International Symposium for Contemplative Studies in Denver, CO. Register
Tuesday, May 8th
Peg Baim, MS, NP will lecture at Faulkner Hospital's Annual Nurses Week on the topic of “Compassionate Self Care: Mind Body Practices for a Better Life.”
