Primary Care

Staff members at MGH Broadway Primary Care-Revere perform routine physical exams and help to coordinate all your health care needs, including diagnosing and treating complex medical problems, and making referrals to specialists. We also provide information about preventive medicine and wellness programs available at MGH Broadway Primary Care-Revere, including diabetes group education visits, weight loss groups and hypertension management.


On-call Physician Coverage

We provide on-call physician coverage for all of our existing patients, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Please call 781-485-1000 to reach the on-call physician. Patients with medical emergencies should call 911.


Urgent Care Appointments

We make every effort to see our patients when they have an unexpected illness or injury. We reserve a limited number of appointments each day for our existing patients who need to be seen on the same day. Current patients may call 781-485-1000 to request an appointment. Please do not use Partners Patient Gateway or our online request form for an urgent care request.


Chronic Disease Management

We want to help our patients learn how to better manage their chronic medical conditions. We offer management programs for both diabetes and hypertension, including group visits for diabetes. These programs offer intensive monitoring and education to help patients be more equipped to manage these complex conditions.


Nutrition Services

We provide a range of programs that address the special nutrition needs associated with conditions like diabetes, cardiovascular diseases (including hypertension and high cholesterol), and gastrointestinal disorders. We also provide counseling and education for adult obesity and weight management, senior health issues and women’s health issues.


Laboratory and Test Results

We offer an on-site laboratory and perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) for our patients. Our lab hours are Monday and Wednesday, 10:30 am-4:30 pm; Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 8:30 am-4:30 pm. When a physician orders tests, patients can walk in without an appointment during the hours listed.

Results are typically available within 48 hours through Partners Patient Gateway or by mail within two weeks.


Prescription Refills

Current patients can request prescription refills online using Partners Patient Gateway or by calling their pharmacy.

Most prescription renewals will be filled within 48 hours. Any requests received after noon on Friday will not be filled until the next business day. Please plan ahead so prescriptions will be ready when they are needed.


Interpreter Services

MGH Broadway Primary Care-Revere offers interpreter services in languages including Arabic, Khmer, Portuguese and Spanish. We can connect patients with an interpreter during their visit by phone or video. Patients requiring translation services should notify their care team upon arrival at the appointment. No prior arrangements need to be made.
