Franco Davoli lost his battle with lung cancer 3 years after his diagnosis. Dr. Alice Shaw and team took great care of Franco and he believed the current research led by Dr. Alice Shaw will play a key role in the future in the cure for this terrible disease. For that reason we have chosen to create the "Franco Davoli Memorial Golf Tournament" to raise needed dollars to support this very important research.
