Erika Barrett, NP, of the MGH Cancer Center, recently was chosen the first recipient of the center's Hematology-Oncology Nurse Practitioner Excellence Award. To be presented annually, the award recognizes a nurse practitioner whose practice demonstrates excellence and expertise in clinical knowledge and decision-making, compassionate caregiving, teaching and mentoring and collaborative teamwork.
