We are committed to providing access to the latest,
most effective treatments for lymphomas. All patients are offered
the best conventional therapies; eligible patients are also
given the opportunity to participate in clinical trials that
evaluate promising new therapies—often years before they
become widely available to all patients.
Recent examples are:
- use of cord blood transplantation
- mismatched family member (haploidentical) stem cell
transplantation for patients who do not have a family
donor.
- stem cell biology and how blood cells are made
- strategies to decrease transplant-related side effects
Physicians provide patients with information about clinical
trials that may be appropriate and help guide them through
the process of eligibility requirements and enrollment.
