Join the 2012 Marathon team!

Want to run in the Boston Marathon® or know someone who runs?  We're still recruiting for the 2012 Mass General Marathon Team with just a few spots left!

The Mass General Marathon Team, with the partnership of John Hancock Financial, has raised more than $6.7 million to support care and research initiatives that enhance the quality of life for our hospital's youngest cancer patients.

We look forward to another great year of running, fundraising and team camaraderie and invite you to apply for the 2012 marathon team here. It’s an experience of a lifetime!

The 2012 Boston Marathon will be held on Monday, April 16. We hope to see you on race day!

Avastin shows promise in ovarian cancer treatment
Newly published studies in the New England Journal of Medicine show that by adding the drug treatment of Avastin to more traditional chemotherapy regimens, you may prolong progression free survival of ovarian cancer patients by almost four months.

Spreading Cheer, Family to Family

Henry and India Claudy, ages 12 and 10, organize a yearly event called Family to Family to help spread holiday cheer to families who are less fortunate.

Saying Thank You to Our Community Fundraisers
In 2011, community fundraisers collectively raised more than $1 million for various departments and programs at the hospital. Mass General says "Thank You" at the 3rd annual event on December 6th.
