Overview of Digestive System

This picture shows parts of the digestive system seen from the front.
Food goes from mouth to the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, and rectum. Wastes go out the anus.
The liver, gallbladder and pancreas are organs that help digest food.
The appendix does not affect digestion
