 Most of the cancers of the head and neck
are called squamous cell cancers. They
differ by where the cancer is located.
The parts of the head and neck are the
nose and upper throat (nasopharynx),
sinuses, throat (oropharynx), tonsils
and adenoids, mouth, tongue, glands
that make saliva and voice box (larynx).
This group does not include skin cancer
or cancers of the eyes, brain or spinal
