Intra-operative Radiation Therapy Suite for the Delivery of Intra-operative Radiation
Once the tumor has been surgical removed, the patient can receive
radiation therapy directly into the surgical area while they
are still under sedation. This allows very direct targeting of
the radiation beams to the tumor area thereby allowing for
a more complete resection of the cancerous tissues. |
