A new and exciting era is underway at
the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer
Center, the hospital that is chosen by more cancer patients than any other hospital in New England. It is also the largest hospital-based research program in the United States.

Matching Gifts

made by their employees, retirees and
directors. Please consult your company's
Human Resource representative to
learn how your workplace matches charitable
contributions, and how you
might be able to increase the value of
your individual donation.

gifts, please visit our main Development
Office web site.
Tribute Gifts
A gift to the Cancer Center is a meaningful and enduring gesture that can honor a loved one, friend or family member, extend appreciation to an outstanding caregiver or to commemorate the memory of a loved one.
You (not donors!) can simply note the name and address of the person being remembered, honored or thanked and send this information with your gift to the Massachusetts
General Hospital Development Office.

Endowed Funds
A donor or family can support the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center by creating an endowed fund, forging a permanent bond between the donor and the hospital. For example:
- Funding the development of breakthroughs in the treatment of cancer.
- Lending needed support to caregivers in the Cancer Center.
Endowed funds provide crucial annual income to an area selected by the donor or they may serve as distinguished tributes to loved ones by bearing their names. These funds are carefully managed for growth and are preserved forever.
A minimum of $25,000 is required to establish an endowed fund at the Massachusetts General Hospital.
