Sustaining a cancer community in the era of personalized medicine

On Oct. 31 at 9 am the MGH Cancer Center’s Network for Patients and Families and the Maxwell V. Blum Cancer Resource Center will present their annual conference in the Simches Research Center. The event will provide patients and families an opportunity to talk about experiences and identify together how to sustain an ongoing and supportive community.

Sessions will include lectures by Jeff Peppercorn, MD, MPH, director of the MGH Cancer Center Survivorship Program; Don S. Dizon, MD, director of the MGH Oncology Sexual Health Clinic; and Betsy O’Donnell, MD, director of Lifestyle Medicine and associate director of the MGH Cancer Center Survivorship Program.

This program is sponsored by the Conquer Cancer Coalition of Massachusetts, a non-profit organization driven to make a difference in the cancer community by raising funds and awareness for the fight against all cancers.
