A
peer support program for patients, family
members, partners and friends living with
a diagnosis of cancer.
Although each person is an individual with his or her own
circumstances, diagnosis and treatment plan, it often helps
to talk with someone who has been through a similar experience
- someone "who's been there."
I can't believe it's cancer ...
What should I take to the hospital?
How will I manage work and treatment?
Will my life ever get back to normal?
Now that treatment's over, I've started to feel ...
Is it normal to worry about ...?
Volunteers for the Network can be patients,
family members, partners or friends who
are experienced in living with cancer.
They are eager to listen and to share
their experience with others by telephone
or in person. To be matched with a volunteer,
please call 617-724-3876 or drop in to
the Cancer Resource Room.
There are many ways you can be involved through the Network:
