Our support programs are designed to help patients, their families and caregivers cope with the challenges of a cancer diagnosis. We offer a wide range of integrative therapies, workshops and support groups. On this page you will find complete listings of our upcoming offerings at the North Shore Cancer Center.

Massage TherapyMassage therapy is offered as part of your care, and can help to alleviate some of the physical symptoms and side effects related to treatment, and can help to relieve stress. Provided by: Michelle Boutin, Licensed Massage TherapistDate: Tuesdays, 10:30 am – 1:30 pm
AcupunctureAcupuncture can help reduce stress and relieve symptoms and side effects related to cancer treatment like fatigue, nausea, pain and dry mouth. Acupressure involves applying gentle pressure to these same points with the hands. This service is available for patients receiving an infusion. Speak with your nurse about whether acupuncture might be helpful for you. Look Good, Feel BetterThis program teaches beauty techniques to cancer patients to help them manage the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment.
