Support the Survivorship Program
The Mass General Cancer Center Survivorship Program’s goal is to promote the health and wellbeing of patients with cancer following completion of initial therapy. Learn more about the resources and support that is available to help you manage all aspects of your life after your initial treatment is complete.
Our approach brings together a multidisciplinary team of clinicians from across Mass General with expertise in evaluating and addressing the needs of cancer survivors. Our program emphasizes maintaining the close relationships that develop between our patients and their oncology team, strengthening communication and care coordination between the oncology team and primary care, and making sure that all patients have access to specialized survivorship services to address any of the challenges they may face after a cancer diagnosis.
Our Survivorship Program helps coordinate these activities across Mass General and ensures that all patients who can benefit have access to these services. In addition, we are focused on research that can improve the lives of patients at Mass General and around the world following the diagnosis of cancer. We are launching new initiatives related to bridging the gaps between primary care and the oncology team and lifestyle interventions that can help patients become healthier in the years after treatment than they were in the years before the cancer was even diagnosed.
