Every year Mass General attracts the best and brightest residents and fellows in a mission to train the next generation. These budding cardiologists are trained to provide excellent care and become leaders in their respective fields.
Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program
The Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program at Massachusetts General Hospital is a three year ACGME training program consisting of two clinical years and one research year.
Echocardiography Fellowship
The Echocardiography Fellowship Program at Massachusetts General Hospital is a two year non-ACGME training program.
Electrophysiology Fellowship
The Electrophysiology Fellowship provides training in managing patients with complex cardiac arrhythmias and performing a wide range of invasive and noninvasive cardiac electrophysiologic and pacing procedures.
Heart Failure and Transplant Fellowship
The Heart Failure and Transplant Fellowship provides inpatient and outpatient training in evaluating and treating patients with advanced heart disease, and follow-up of patients after cardiac transplant.
Interventional Cardiology Fellowship
The Interventional Cardiology Fellowship provides training in clinical interventional cardiology where fellows master the skills of percutaneous coronary interventional procedures and gain exposure to a wide variety of structural heart disease percutaneous procedures.
Nuclear Cardiology Fellowship
The Nuclear Cardiology Fellowship Program provides training in all aspects of nuclear cardiology practice, including cardiac PET, stress performance and interpretation and image analysis and interpretation.
Structural Heart Disease Fellowship
The Structural Heart Disease Fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital Heart Center is a one-year program that provides training in structural heart disease procedures for fellows with a completed cardiac catheterization and coronary interventional fellowship.
Vascular Diagnostic and Intervention Fellowship
The Vascular Diagnostic and Intervention Fellowship Program at Massachusetts General Hospital is a one-year, non-ACGME training program.

For more than 75 years, the Department of Medicine Residency Training Program has brought experience, commitment, and a rigorous and balanced approach to the training of internal medicine residents.
