Codman Center for Clinical Effectiveness in Surgery
The Codman Center for Clinical Effectiveness in Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital is committed to educating surgeons, residents and fellows about surgical outcomes and to improving the quality of patient care.
The Codman Center provides research and educational opportunities for fellows and residents interested in improving quality and safety within the Department of Surgery and at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Residents have the ability to propose research initiatives based on their interests and skills. Funding may be available for accepted proposals, and the Codman Center will work with residents to identify suitable funding resources outside of Mass General.
Through these research initiatives, residents broaden their exposure to surgical outcomes research and expand their skills in quality and safety measurement and metric development. The Codman Center is committed to the future of safe patient care and invests in developing leaders within this field.
Interested applicants should contact CCES@partners.org for more information.
Mass General offers fellowships to individuals interested in improving quality and safety at all levels of leadership.
