The Hepatitis C Program provides identification, medical provider education and intensive follow-up services for patients in need of support to maintain the prescribed treatment.
Working in tandem with the lead physicians at MGH Charlestown, MGH Chelsea and MGH Revere HealthCare Centers, the Hep C Outreach Workers organize and facilitate individual and group patient education sessions. The program also provides clinicians working at the health centers with Hep C educational materials and promotes Hepatitis awareness at various community health fairs.
