CCHI works actively with the cities of Chelsea and Revere and the Charlestown neighborhood to address their unique health challenges. We also sponsor programs that improve the health of local youth and other special populations--such as the elderly, homeless, immigrants, and refugees.
CCHI develops programs that target youth and special populations-- such as the elderly, homeless, immigrants, and refugees-- to improve their health, wellbeing and educational attainment.
CCHI works closely with Charlestown community leaders to improve health overall with a focus on its key goal: preventing and treating substance abuse.
Chelsea has established multiple programs and strategies to help patients navigate the complex health care system, reduce disparities, improve access to care, address the high rates of overweight and obesity, and work within the community to address environmental factors leading to substance abuse and its public safety implications.
Revere has partnered with CCHI for years to tackle the community's biggest challenges--from reducing substance abuse and violence to improving healthy living.
