Our health education and promotion programs are designed to meet the needs for high-quality health education within MGH HealthCare Centers and in the communities served by the HealthCare Centers.

ARCH (Access to Resources for Community Health)
Established in 2000, ARCH - Access to Resources for Community Health - strives to improve access, especially electronic access, to high-quality patient education information and resources in the communities served by the MGH HealthCare Centers.

Celebrating Women Living a Vibrant Healthy Life
This event is organized once every two years on behalf of MGH HealthCare Centers.  It brings individuals, families, and community-based organizations together for a night of celebration of women's health.

Health Education Planning Group
The Health Education Planning Group engages nurse educators and other clinical staff from the HealthCare Centers in improving health education services through quarterly meetings.

Smart Choices Program
This is a program designed to strengthen the capacity of agencies located in Charlestown through grant-making.

Stay in Shape Program
Stay in Shape is a free after-school program designed to promote knowledge and action of healthy living against childhood obesity among adolescent school girls 5th - 12th grades at the communities serviced by MGH HealthCare Centers.
