CeDAR has funded many research studies, with grants ranging from $50,000 to $200,000 each. The maximum allowable overhead charged to a CeDAR grant is 15%, and the total amount (direct and indirect) cannot exceed $200,000. Grants are for one year from the time of fund transfer, with the expectation that results of the funded study will be published in a leading journal within two years of fund transfer.

The next grant deadlines is on To Be Determined (2009) , with all applicants notified of the status of their application within 2-3 months of submission.
Established investigators previously working in other areas and wishing to pursue clinical/translational research in the area of vitamin D are encouraged to apply. The research proposal is limited to 3 pages.
