Asthma Program for Pediatrics
A quality initiative partnering with the Mass General Physicians Organization to develop and maintain a Pediatric Asthma Registry for case identification and to offer reporting features for MGH Pediatric Providers. Asthma coordinators are available at each MGH pediatric office site to coordinate services for patients, including Action Plans for use at home and at school and individualized teaching if referred by their pediatric provider. With a physician referral, the MGH Pediatric Asthma Quality Initiative Program offers MGH pediatric patients a group asthma education program for parents/guardians and their children.
