"HAPPY Heart" is a pilot research project. The Principle Investigator of the project is Malissa Wood, MD, FACC, from the MGH Division of Cardiology and MGH Women's Heart Health Program.

A personalized program, “HAPPY Heart" is a research study for English and Spanish speaking women 40-60 years old. Women in the program learn to apply preventive strategies to their daily life, including regular exercise, healthy eating, weight loss, stop smoking, and stress reduction.

Patients need to meet eligibility criteria to enroll. While in the program, they are followed by a primary care physician at MGH-Revere Health Center or MGH Chelsea Health Center.
