The Mind Body Intervention for Depression Pilot Study is a collaborative effort between CHA and a few other MGH departments. The program helps patients with depression learn to manage symptoms and live a healthy life, using a mind-body approach.
The program offers an 8-week group to patients diagnosed with depression at MGH Charlestown, MGH Chelsea, and MGH Revere. Mental Health clinicians guide the patients through activities based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology and enhancement of Conscious Positive Expectation (CPE), Social Support (SS), and promotion of Healthy Lifestyle Behaviors (HL).
Our collaborators at MGH include:
- MGH-Benson Henry Institute of Mind Body Medicine
- MGH-Mental Health Departments at MGH Charlestown, MGH Chelsea, and MGH Revere
