Receive invaluable consultation, training and feedback on how you can support your neurodiverse employees through hosting an intern.

Businesses work incredibly hard at recruiting and retaining a workforce that is diverse and that will contribute to reaching its goals. It is good for business and it is good for employees and customers. We’ve found that more and more employers are including individuals who identify as having a disability – most specifically, people on the autism spectrum and related profiles, as a vital part of those initiatives. Neurodiversity, or the wide range of differences in individual brain function and behavioral traits, is gaining awareness as a way to capitalize on the unique skills and traits of autistic individuals that help your business meet its goals. To learn how this would benefit your organization or business, please get in touch.

...we feel that Aspire ran and supported the program exceptionally well, with obvious devotion to the well-being and future of the young adults who are fortunate to be in it. This helped us to adjust on the fly and provide a lot of training, instruction, coaching, and high-quality and high-tech experience for the Aspire interns. Thank you again for this opportunity. We look forward to long-term relationships with your program, and we hope for immense success in the lives and careers of our wonderful interns.”

“I would not say that having an Aspire intern is challenging at all. I will say that I was a little worried in the first week of the internship because I was leery of making our intern nervous or overwhelming him. I would also add that was my issue, not his. After the first couple of days, those feeling went away as he became a member of the team.”

"...I hope that you realize that we as well value the relationship that we have with your program as well. This is the second time working with your program we were lucky enough to have an intern over spring time who assisted us greatly in the office, but even more importantly his personality fit in with office right away and was a pleasure to deal with. I for one miss conversing with him and hope that he enjoyed his stay here as much as we did. As far as our current candidate, it seems we have hit pay dirt once again, although he does not report directly to me, he will always check in with me to see how the quality of his work is. It is quite obvious that he takes pride in his work, and I can honestly tell you I wish we had more like him. I look forward to continue to work with him and to help in any way that I can. In short, in my fifteen years here I can honestly say working with the Aspire program is something that I am most proud of and take pride in playing a small role in. we look forward to continue to work with everyone at Aspire.
