Digestive Disease Week (DDW) 2017 took place in May in Chicago, IL. DDW is the largest international gathering of physicians, researchers and academics in the field of gastroenterology, hepatology, endoscopy and gastrointestinal surgery. Thousands of abstracts and hundreds of lectures on recent advances in GI research, medicine and technology were presented. Four of our investigators proudly presented their recent findings, including a presentation by Dr. Craig Sturgeon, whose findings are summarized within this edition.
