She has a particular interest in asthma, exercise intolerance, and weight-related conditions. Throughout her tenure at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Scirica has been committed to the education of medical students, trainees and patients, earning her the Resident Teaching Award from two separate graduating classes of Harvard Medical School.  Dr. Scirica also contributes to the ongoing education of physicians and other healthcare providers through presentations and conferences, and recently directed a full-day course at the Partners Asthma Center for nurses and other health educators on Sports, Exercise and Asthma.  In addition, Dr. Scirica has written numerous educational handouts and online articles for patients, and she has been interviewed by news organizations on topics related to her field of practice.
