Vandana Madhavan, MD, MPH, is a pediatric hospitalist and infectious disease specialist, as well as primary care pediatrician, at MGHfC.  Before medical school, she worked in an infectious disease (ID) lab at Mass General for her senior thesis at Harvard College.  For her MPH, Dr. Madhavan focused on vaccine uptake rates in diverse populations.  After training, she served as medical director of inpatient pediatrics, site director of the residency program and started clinics in pediatric ID and tuberculosis at NSMC.  During the Partners' transition to a new electronic medical record, she served as a clinical lead.  Her academic interests include tuberculosis, vaccinations, quality improvement and medical education.
