Pediatric Residency Program

Ambulatory Care Rotation Conferences are a component of the Pediatric Residency Program at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Pediatric residents rotating on ACR1 (Pediatric Behavior and Development), ACR2 (Career Development) and ACR3 (Adolescent Medicine) meet weekly on Tuesday mornings from 9 am to 12 pm to have small group discussion-style conferences. These conferences are moderated by the ambulatory care attending of the month and are each given by a clinician-teacher. All residents take part in a formal journal club led by Jeanne Van Cleave, MD, during this time as well. The topics covered in these sessions run on a three year cycle so that all residents are exposed to all topics over the course of their three years of residency.
