Endowed FundsYou may also support MGHfC by creating an endowed fund, forging a permanent bond between yourself and the hospital. Endowed funds are carefully managed for growth and are preserved forever. They provide crucial annual income to an area of the hospital selected by the donor, whose gift forms a legacy that will protect the mission of MGHfC and lend urgently needed support to caregivers in individual departments. Endowed funds may also serve as distinguished tributes to loved ones by bearing their names.

A minimum of $100,000 is required to establish an endowed fund.

To learn more about creating an endowed fund, please contact Ellen Heath Plapinger, Senior Director of Development, at the address above.
Special EventsHolding a special event is a unique way to raise money for MGHfC. If you are interested in organizing a fundraising event to help pediatric patients, get started by visiting the Special Events page on the Mass General Development Office site.

A member of the hospital’s special events staff will be happy to contact you regarding your proposed event for MGHfC.
Ways to ParticipateWhether your goal is to educate and spread awareness of pediatric illnesses, to organize special events and raise much-needed funds, or to lend a listening ear and a comforting shoulder to patients and their families, MGHfC welcomes your personal involvement. Donate through Child LifeSupporting the children and families at MGHfC can also be fulfilled through the Child Life Department Wish List.
