Dr. Troulis recognize with faculty award

Distinguished senior faculty award celebrates Troulis' pioneering of minimally invasive OMS

Dr. Maria Troulis was honored by HSDM with the 2010 Distringuished Senior Faculty Award.  Citing her record as a surgical innovator, Dean Bruce Donoff recognized her "as a pioneer of minimally invasive jaw and salivary gland surgery and distraction osteogenesis, for directing the OMS Residency Training Program with enthusiasm, wisdom and compassion, and having mentored a generation of HSDM students doing research projects leading to publication in peer-reviewed journals.  The award was presented at HSDM following commencement exercises.
