The 2014-2015 flu season is here and it is important to get vaccinated! The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that everyone 6 months and older should be vaccinated annually.
Getting the annual flu vaccine is the way to protect you and others from contracting or spreading the flu. We encourage all of our patients to consider getting the flu vaccine, especially those that are at high risk for getting the flu.
Beginning in October, flu vaccines will be available at the MGH Main Campus Central Flu Clinic for staff and patients 18 years and older:
MGH Centralized Flu Shot Program
Wang Ambulatory Center Main Lobby
Available to: All adult MGH patients (18+) and staff
Clinic schedule: Oct 6th through Nov 21st, Mon-Fri: 8:00am-6:00pm
Patients may also visit health centers in the community to get vaccinated. For more information, please call our flu hotline at 877-733-3737. You can also visit www.massgeneral.org/flu or www.facebook.com/massgeneral for more details.
