A Royal Reception at MGHfC

Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia visited MassGeneral Hospital for Children (MGHfC) on April 24 for a special tour of the hospital’s Francis H. Burr Proton Therapy Center, the Patty Ribakoff Newborn Intensive Care Unit and the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. The group also toured the specialized services, including burn care, orthopedics, plastic surgery, cleft lip and palate treatment, skin disorders and specialized wound care, offered at Shriners Hospitals for Children – Boston.

“We were honored to show Their Royal Highnesses the innovative resources that MGHfC can provide to pediatric patients near and far,” Kleinman said. “It was an honor to highlight how our family-centered approach to care, coupled with our state-of-the-art technologies, can impact the lives of children.”
