Sangeeth Gnanasekaran, MD, MPH
Dr. Gnanasekaran completed her undergraduate education at Columbia College, Columbia University with a major in economics and a minor in mathematics. She received her medical degree from Columbia University. She completed pediatric residency training at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center and received a Master's Degree in Public Health from the Columbia School of Public Health.
Dr. Gnanasekaran completed the Harvard Pediatric Health Services Research Fellowship at Children's Hospital Boston in June 2005. Her research is focused on influenza vaccination rates among children with asthma.
She is currently a pediatrician at the Cambridge Health Alliance and researcher at the Center for Child and Adolescent Health Policy. Her current research focuses on variations in child health policy at the state-level on access to care among children with special health care needs (CSHCN). She is studying state-level variation in delayed or forgone care among CSHCN. In addtion to developing another study evaluating the Title V program at the state-level and satisfaction with care among families participating in Title V program.
