Goals and Objectives of Rotation:
To enable the house officer to recognize causes of clinical disturbances in growth and physical development and endocrine disorders, design and carry through critical diagnostic evaluations, provide rational therapy, evaluate effectiveness, and communicate relevant information to the child, parents and referring physician. To use the management of children with diabetes mellitus as an opportunity to master multidisciplinary management of chronic illness in childhood.
